not only that, i'm also incredibly inept when it comes to coding. so, despite my best efforts, this blog is going to be the most barebones website you've stumbled across in your life.
regardless of my pathetic attempt to justify my poor web design skills, i still find myself eager to update this site. i'm honestly ecstatic writing this, since it's a chance to finally put my thoughts somewhere (instead of letting them bounce around in my head screensaver-style).
a lot of my musings will be poorly structured & appallingly written. i'm seriously hoping it'll have some sort of endearing effect on readers instead of making me seem totally illiterate.
that said, the content on this website won't be as refined as other blogs. searching for inspiration, i happened upon thousands of sophisticated-looking personal blogs dissecting the minute nuances of their favorite shows or comics -- which intimidated the hell out of me. i then realized that i don't really care.
this site consists of slop. straight slop for days.
i'm definitely not as smart as writers who put together long-winded essays about why their favorite anime is the "industry paradigm" & i'm certainly not as smart as those who figured out how to make their blogs look appealing to the eyes. but what i am smart enough to do is write several pages of slop about my favorite anime and "industry paradigms." so i guess i will!!!!!
at the end of the day, i'm just having fun. i've never really been good at anything (writing, drawing, sports, basic comprehension, etc.), so having a space where i can distance myself from the expectation of talent is seriously liberating.
