[ENTRY] figure wishlist!!!

i saw someone else do this on a shared blog & ripped this idea right from it (not exactly. i made this its own distinct post lol)

to be honest, i don't really collect figures. i'm not really a materialistic kind of person, despite regularly consuming trivial bullshit. sometimes, however, i stumble upon total grails i'd love to hoard in my room.

this list isn't in any particular order. this is just a miscellaneous collection of stuff i'd eat pancreas for.

1) pop up parade -- madoka magica: nutcracker witch

otherwise known as "Pop Up Parade SP Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie -Rebellion- Nutcracker Witch," this figure is the coolest fucking thing i've ever seen.

the nutcracker witch (homulily) has such a unique & visually interesting design that translates oddly well into the third dimension. the intricacies of the flowers & laces are so interesting to behold in a plastic medium, boosting this figure's status from great to phenomenal.

not only would this figure be a great curio, but it'd also be a nice conversation starter.

"dude what the fuck is that"

"that's my Pop Up Parade SP Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie -Rebellion- Nutcracker Witch"

2) max factory -- umamusume: narita top road [1/7 scale]

narita top road is not my favorite umamusume. hell, she's not even my favorite narita. this figure, however, captivates me like a drooling toddler on an ipad. i can't think of a simile

the vibrant colors & top road's overall palette is amazingly cohesive. the shading and details make for such an enthralling piece that i can only senselessly pine over.

i can't help but love the figures of the horse girls running. the way she's posed is stunning & determined, perfectly capturing the essence of umamusume (god i cringed while writing that LMAOOO). the way her pose accentuates her clothing & horse girl features is incredibly eye-catching, making it a fantastic figure to add to one's collection.

3) petitrama dx -- hell's paradise: jigokuraku

this figure is 145mm, which is about 5.7 inches -- smaller than the narita top road figure from above.

despite its smaller size, this figure is genuinely one of my fattest grails of all time. the comprehensive photo does not do the characters justice, as closer shots reveal the beautiful intricacies of the overall piece.

i adore how each character is posed, reflecting their personalities in only one figure. the base -- primarily made up of rocks & flowers -- is lined with more flame & flowery detail, an enjoyable touch that guides the eyes in a meaningful way.

i also really like chobei's gigantic fucking weapon. i'm not sure where he got it, but it's fun to look at, nonetheless.

4)  estream -- chainsaw man: power [1/7 scale]

i honestly don't really know where to start with this one. this might be the funniest panel to create a figure for.

recently, i've been getting really into chainsaw man. so, when feeding my growing fixation on the devil-ridden world, i decided to search for figures that might satiate that hunger.

this figure beyond satiated me. it quenched me. i have no idea what i'd do if i don't get my hands on this thing.

the pose is a hilarious reference to a moment in the manga where readers get a feel for the dynamic between power & denji. to have it tactile in my room would be the funniest homage ever, only piling onto the reasons i should bend to my insane spending habits.

other than the reference itself, the colors, shading, & details are pretty accurate to the source, which is quite pleasant to look at. i need this in my life.

5) kadokawa -- angel beats: kanade tachibana wedding vers. [1/7 scale]

i'm not the biggest fan of angel beats. it's a classic, but i couldn't get into it as much as middle schoolers in 2011 did.

this figure might've changed me, though. the gorgeous dress & coloring had me entranced the moment i laid eyes on it. the train & veil are detachable, revealing a petite miniskirt & gorgeous flowing hair. the customizable aspect of the model is seriously intriguing, leaving me itching to try it out for myself.

the wings & hair are of similar color families, giving the figure a harmonious feel. the dress & wings also pull from pink as well, which livens up the figure when contrasted against traditionally white wedding dresses.

the flowers are quite large. the plastic ribbons flowing from the bottom of her bouquet silhouettes this model as delicate & airy, which is seriously adorable. i love this figure, despite my slight aversion to angel beats.

honorable mentions

just felt like i needed to put these somewhere

demon slayer: hakuji/akaza

unfortunately, i couldn't find the manufacturers of this figure. the only thing i managed to drudge up was this photo, which nearly killed me when i stumbled upon it.

i've had this figure on my wishlist for about a year now, which is insane because i seem to be unable to commit to even completing my homework. how am i more committed to this fucking figure than my future????

jokes aside, this figure is fantastic. his symbolic pose & depressing expression create a figure that beautifully demonstrates the discordance between akaza & hakuji.

i believe this figure is unlicensed (a bootleg), since i can't find any verified manufacturers or sellers. take this with a grain of salt though, i'm writing & researching this at 2am on a tuesday. despite this, i still want this model really fucking bad.

phat! company -- umamusume: transcend [1/7 scale]

good smile company -- umamusume: rice shower halloween vers. [1/7 scale]
